We proudly offer clear orthodontic aligners that are made on site by Cornerstone Orthodontic Laboratory, saving patients expense while ensuring that the aligners are made to Dr. Stonecypher’s exact specifications.

Many of our patients had never considered traditional braces but are now happily and comfortably improving their smiles with clear aligners.

What are clear aligners?

• A virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces.
• A series of clear, removable, custom-made trays.
• Uses no metal wires or brackets.
• Fabricated with the use of 3D printing technology.

How do aligners work?

• Wear each set of aligners for about 2-3weeks.
• Remove only to eat, drink, brush and floss.
• Your teeth will move gradually as each aligner is worn.
• Visit us every 6-8 weeks for progress checks.

What are the advantages of aligners?

• Aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without the high visibility of braces!
• Using aligners, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth.
• There are no wires, metal or brackets that are the usual cause of mouth abrasions during traditional orthodontic treatment.

Limitations of aligners

• Clear aligners are a very useful and convenient method of treatment, but they cannot be used in every case.  Complex tooth movements or cases requiring significant bite correction are usually best treated with braces.

• Keep in mind that clear aligners are removable.  If they are not worn as directed, the teeth will not move as planned.
